SGM Scope of Supply: thanks to the THPA (Thessaloniki Port Authority) experience and reference SGM Magnetics sold no. 2 complete stand-alone equipment for reach stacker in order to handle a various range of material a port has to manage like as:
- Slabs: max 300x2000x12000 mm – max 35.000kg
- Billets in layer: no. 5 200x200x12500 mm – max 20.000kg
- Blooms in layer: no. 4 250x250x12000 mm – max 20.000 kgPipes in layer and bundles: max ø406,4 mm(16”) x th. 1” ½ x 14.630 mm (48ft) – max 10.000 kg (both layer and bundle)
- Bars in bundles: max ø350 mm x 14.000 mm – max 10.500 kg (no. 4 bundles of 2500 kg or no. 3 bundles of 3500 kg)
- Beams and profile in bundles: max 500×500 x 14.000 mm – max 2 bundles of 5.000 kg/each
- Beams in layer: layer width max 1000 mm – Single beam type for layer max HE1000 – Max length 14.000 mm – max 10.000 kg
The designed equipment includes also the Diesel Generator and Radio remote controller in order to manage the system directly from the Reach-stacker cabin by the single operator; The motorized spreader beam is equipped with no. 4 SGM magnets model 2PA 78/110 AND with movable side toes for round load layer and movable anti-roll device for single pipe lifting both installed on the external magnets only.
