Ultra High Frequency Eddy Current Separator – BVIS Model

High-Performance Separation for Ultra-Fine Non-Ferrous Metals

The SGM BVIS Model is an ultra-high frequency eddy current separator (ECS) designed for maximum efficiency in recovering ultra-fine non-ferrous metals. Featuring a concentric rotor design, it ensures optimal exposure of material to the magnetic field, enhancing metal recovery and purity.

This advanced ECS model utilizes high-speed rotors (ranging from 3,000 to 4,800 rpm) and large neodymium permanent magnet blocks, generating maximum magnetic energy for superior separation performance.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Concentric rotor design for both instantaneous and progressive separation
  • High-speed rotor (up to 4,800 rpm) for ultra-fine metal recovery
  • Latest-generation neodymium permanent magnets for enhanced magnetic field strength
  • Enclosed design with dust control accommodation for cleaner operation
  • Electronic emergency fast-breaking system for safety and efficiency
  • Easy-access design for simplified maintenance

How It Works: Instantaneous & Progressive Metal Separation

Unlike eccentric rotor designs, which perform only instantaneous separation, the concentric rotor design of the BVIS Model allows for progressive separation—essential for efficiently recovering ultra-fine non-ferrous metals that require more time to react to the magnetic field.

Pre-Separation Optimization

To maximize non-ferrous metal recovery and protect the ECS from ferrous damage, it is recommended to use a ferrous separator before feeding material into the BVIS Model.

Customizable Options for Optimized Performance

The SGM BVIS Model can be equipped with the following optional features:

  • Brush cleaning system for belt maintenance
  • Automatic or manual splitter adjustment for precise separation control
  • Ceramic shell for fiberglass drum for increased durability
  • Vibrating feeder for consistent material distribution
