Efficient, Reliable & Cost-Effective Non-Ferrous Metal Separation
The SGM EIS Model is a cost-effective, easy-to-operate, and highly reliable Eddy Current Separator (ECS) designed for non-ferrous metal recovery from municipal solid waste (MSW) and other recycling applications.
Equipped with a concentric rotor for maximum exposure of material to the magnetic field, the EIS Model ensures efficient separation of non-ferrous metals, reducing waste contamination and increasing material recovery rates.
Key Features & Benefits
- Latest-generation neodymium permanent magnets for enhanced performance
- Concentric rotor design for optimized material exposure to the magnetic field
- Easy-access design for simplified maintenance and servicing
- Adjustable belt speed (0.6 – 2.1 m/sec) for customizable separation efficiency
- Compact and durable structure, ensuring long-term reliability
How It Works
The SGM EIS Model utilizes a high-speed rotating magnetic field to induce eddy currents in non-ferrous metals, repelling them from the waste stream and enabling precise separation.
- Non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc.) are repelled and ejected into a separate collection area.
- Non-metallic materials (plastics, wood, glass, etc.) follow their natural trajectory and continue along the conveyor.
Customizable Options for Optimized Performance
The SGM EIS Model can be equipped with optional features to enhance efficiency and durability:
Electronic emergency fast-breaking system for increased safety
Brush cleaning system for continuous belt maintenance
Vibrating feeder for uniform material distribution
