How the MIMS Model works

  • Generates a homogeneous axial and radial magnetic field, ensuring consistent attraction and concentration of weakly magnetic iron ore.
  • Can operate in either current or countercurrent flow, optimizing iron ore recovery and minimizing material losses.
  • Used after LIMS (Light Intensity Magnetic Separators) to further refine iron ore and before WHIMS (Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separators) to enhance WHIMS productivity while reducing clogging risks.
  • Can be supplied with or without a tank, allowing adaptability to specific processing requirements.
