Induction Sensor Separator

Technical specifications

Induction Sensor Separator are belt separators provided with a bank of inductive sensors placed under the belt that identify the presence of metals in the material crossing their induction field when traveling on the belt. The metal identification signal is sent to a control unit which triggers some pneumatic rejector valves mounted on a bar positioned in front of the head pulley.

Induction sensor separators are typically used in combination and after eddy current separators (ECS) for the recovery of the non-ferrous metals that do not offer an easy response to ECS like stainless steel or insulated copper wires.

Some metals are still present in the waste of your Eddy Current Separators and they can represent between 2% to 5% of ECS waste and they are typically divided into two main categories: Zurik (mainly stainless steel) and Copper Wires (insulated and bare).

The SGM sensor separator is the natural complement to recover those metals.

Designed with bottom blowing rejector head with metal pieces that are blown from below.

Possibility to select different metal separation programs (All metals, stainless steel, copper wires) with different preset levels of sensor sensitivity: high, medium, low.

Alarm communication and diagnostic survey related to proper feeding and distribution of infeed material to EMS separator

Possibility of connecting multiple EMS separators while maintaining the same working level, we call it cascade installation.
