Technical specifications

The permanent magnets of the DBP line are fixed hanging separators prgrammed like the DBE models, for the separation of scrap when the amount of iron present in the waste is reduced.

To choose the suspended magnetic separator best suited to specific industrial recycling needs, the following aspects must be considered:

Size of ferrous particles to be machined (the more tiny and the more the magnet must ensure high performance)
Shape of ferrous material (the closer it gets to a sphere, the more complex the application)
Height of scrap heap and waste to be selected (the higher and more challenging is the task of the magnet)
Bulk density of the material to be treated (the higher, the higher the performance required of the magnet)
Moisture present in scrap and waste (the higher the magnet must ensure efficient performance)
Conveyor speed (the faster and more powerful the magnetic separator)
Width of the conveyor belt (the suspended separator must have dimensions such as to propagate the capacity of attraction over the entire width of the carpet below)

Operation

The DBP suspended magnetic separators are placed above a conveyor belt, either along the length of the conveyor itself or, preferably, at the end of the conveyor at a minimum distance from the head pulley.

Its capacity and depth of attraction allows the permanent DBP magnet to lift the iron components present in the material to be processed and separate them from the non-ferrous material that falls into a container at the end of the conveyor belt.
