Wire coils are tightly wound rolls of steel wire used in various industries, including construction, automotive, and manufacturing. Their cylindrical shape, weight, and tendency to shift during lifting make their handling particularly challenging. Traditional methods, such as “C” hooks, often lead to imprecise positioning, surface damage, and inefficient workflows, especially when handling multiple coils in a row.
SGM’s electromagnetic lifting solutions offer a more efficient, safer, and damage-free alternative to traditional C-hook handling. Our system allows for the handling of wire coils in-line up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) in length or side by side, significantly improving workflow efficiency.
